EOTD - 2/7/11

Just an EOTD from the other day. I went bowling on Monday with my sisters and cousin for a school event and I wanted to wear make-up but not go over the top so I whipped out my Wet-n-Wild eyeshadow trio in Silent Treatment. I'll be doing a seperate post about the two trios I own by W-n-W but to sum it up, I'm in love with them. These shadows are SO pigmented and so cheap. I've grabbed all of my Wet-n-Wild eyeshadows from Rite Aid but I'm pretty sure you can get them at any drugstore and Harmon beauty stores as well. I used the lid color and crease color from the trio and wore L'OREAL VOLUMINOUS MILLION LASH mascara which is another drugstore gem. I sometimes find it hard to show you all my eye make-up because my crease is so defined/my brow area is so "heavy" and you lose a lot of it unless I make silly faces (hence the cropped photos, haha). I will say the crease color is crazy dark & pigmented so just beware of that when you use this, a little goes along way for sure.

Mascara lovin'

Last week before my hair appointment I wanted to slab on some easy make-up and while going through my make-up drawers I saw my beloved YSL Faux Cils mascara. Now, sadly this mascara is at the very end of it's tube life and has dried up so terribly that it breaks my little heart! So I used it but then went in with L'OREAL Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara and wound up with this! I did brush it through with a comb though as the YSL was a bit clumpy (sad face).

I love long lush lashes and while these were long, I wanted a bit more thickness. I just bought a Chanel mascara which I'm in love with but I miss my YSL and the thickness it provides. Damn you for drying out so fast. I love how I take pictures and make my nose look huge... sorry little bud! Anyway, I really like the L'OREAL Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. It does a great job with my lashes, it does flake though which is a pain in the ass but not enough to make me stop using it. For me, it's a more of a daytime mascara because I want a little more "oomph" when I'm going out at night but it still gives me "bigger" lashes for the daytime which I adore.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been running auditions for the show I'm directing and it's been a bit hectic, but it's all cast now (THANK GOD!!!).

Anywho, just wanted to show you all an EOTD a few days ago. Ignore my eyebrows please! This was prior to me putting anything in them and prior to a little thing called waxing. I have to wait quite a bit of time between waxings because my one eyebrow grows in super slow... it's quite annoying. Anywho, here's just a simple look! Enjoy!

I can't remember if I used Stila's Major Lash Mascara or Rimmel's The Max Volume Flash Mascara... hmm.

EOTD

Hey all!

So I was in a big rush this morning and did a smokey eye while driving -- more like at red lights, ha. No worries I didn't actually DRIVE and do my make-up.

Anywho this is just a picture of my eyes b/c my skin is having a mind of it's own lately (ugh). I rarely have problems with my skin but when it flares up, it really flares up. I was also curious about how people put their names on their pictures so no one can steal them. Do any of you do that? Do you think it's wise?

This look is messy so I doubt people would steal it hahaha but I mean other pictures.

Anywho, onto the eyes.

This week I'll be uploading a review of a Barry M product I received in a swap.

Also a small haul from this evening will go up tomorrow.

For whatever reason whenever I re-size the pictures they look weird and kind of washed out but on my photobucket you can see the colors. Rawr.

Anyhow, I used my Storm Palette I got from Nicola!

I'll be doing a review on that soon as well.

Also I'll list the names of the colors I used tomorrow.. I used 3 different colors, a shimmery white, a navy blue, and a black.

Let me also say that the black in this palette is so GOOD. I'm going to have to say it beats out my MAC Carbon thus far. I feel like the color is much more intense.

Oh & I didn't have time to do mascara in case you were wondering.

I also hope I get better at taking pictures of my eyes. It's hard!!!
